Corporate Message from the President
When forming Cypress, I decided that the best way to be successful
was to never give a client a reason to leave. It is in this regard
that makes us unique. Our sole commitment to our clients is to
ensure they know how important they are to us. We reinforce this
message with every phone call, email, meeting, with the simple daily
request and when handling the most complex of issues. Eliminating
the 800#-multi-department-corporate feel is how we started in
business. We have endured by never compromising that commitment.
Cypress Benefits Group, Inc. can be characterized as having a
boutique broker feel but with national strength. We have surrounded
our company with the best weapons to traverse the ever changing
world of insurance. As President, I am responsible for overseeing
the development and implementation of a total solution to enhance
the employee benefits of existing and future clients. I have been
fortunate to have fostered critical partnerships with industry
leaders to expand Cypress’s corporate leverage on a regional,
national and global platform. .
After receiving a dual B.A. from The University of Delaware, I
worked as an executive in the insurance industry for several years
before attending Duquesne University, School of Law, where I
received my Juris Doctorate, with top honors. It was during this
time that I started Cypress Benefits as a part-time venture while
working as an ERISA attorney for a large global law firm
headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Recognizing the need to
provide sound employee benefits advice to employers on a more
personal level, I transitioned to Cypress Benefits on a full-time
basis. I have been honored as the 2010 Woman Executive of the Year
by the National Association of Professional Executive Woman and
participate on numerous broker advisory boards of our insurance
carrier partners.
